White Bread

I love homemade bread! Whether you are making it for yourself or as a gift for someone else, 'cause who doesn't love getting homemade bread, this simple white bread recipe is simply delicious!

Prep Time: 70      Completion Time: 25      Serving Size: 2 Loaves


1 1/4 cups Soymilk, warm
1 1/2 T sugar
2 tsp active dry yeast

3 cups all purpose flour
2 T Buttery Spread, melted
1 1/2 tsp salt


Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F

Add sugar to warmed Soymilk and stir to dissolve. Mix in yeast and allow to proof.

Place flour salt and melted Buttery Spread in a large mixing bowling bowl and cut with mixing knife until well blended.

Create a well in the flour and pour in the Soymilk mixture. Cut into flour till well blended, then continue to knead by hand until thoroughly mixed and dough has formed.

Divide in half and place in greased baking pans, baste tops with Buttery Spread and cover with a clean dry dish towel and allow to rise for 1 hour.

Bake for 25 minutes, baste again during the last 5 minutes.

Side Notes:
Place bowl on the warmest area of stove top while the oven is preheating.
Allowing your dough to rise in a warm place produces a light and airy dough.

Use half of the dough to make rolls. Baste with Buttery Spread and top with sesame seeds for the perfect burger bun!
