Simple Creamy Soup

This Simple Creamy Soup is perfect on its own or as a base for any creamy vegan soup. Enjoy it topped with chives or reinvent last nights left over vegetables into a creamy veggie chowder! The possibilities are possibly endless.

1/2 cup Buttery Spread
3 T all-purpose flour

2 cups Soymilk
2 tsp light vegetable bouillon

Salt & pepper to taste


In a saucepan over medium heat melt Buttery Spread. Add flour and make a paste. Pour in Soymilk and stir until hot and all the paste has dissolved. Add bouillon and continue to stir until the bouillon has also completely dissolved.

Reduce heat to medium low and continue to simmer until thickened.

Serve as is or use as a soup starter for other cream based soups.

Side Notes:
Add leftover broccoli and some Nutritional Yeast for a creamy broccoli and cheeze that will knock your socks off.

Add seitan sausage crumbles and serve over biscuits!
