Pizza Dough

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that's amore! And that's exactly what will happen when you make this Pizza Dough for the first time. Pizza night is always a big hit, but turning it into a homemade pizza night is nothing short of a homerun!

Prep Time: 20      Completion Time: 20      Serving Size: 8 serving

Ingredients

3 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt

1 cup warm water
1 T white sugar
1 1/2 tsp yeast

2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Dissolve the sugar in the warm water, stir in the yeast and allow to proof.

In large bowl, combine flour and salt and create a well.

Add yeast mixture and olive oil, knead for 5 minutes or until mixture is well combined then form a ball.

Lightly grease dough ball, cover and let rise for 10 minutes.

Roll out dough to desired shape and size.

Add toppings of choice and pop into the oven, bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden.

Remove from oven, allow to cool then slice and serve.


Side Notes:
For a crispier crust, place in oven and bake for 10 minutes or until slightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool, add toppings and return to oven for and additional 10-15 minutes.
