Liquid Gold

Here is a vegan egg, breakfast treasure. I call this dreamy sensation, Liquid Gold. No matter if you're dipping toast in it or pouring it over home fries, you'll agree, Liquid Gold is priceless! This golden sauce mimics the consistency and flavor of an egg yoke, without the egg.

1 T nutritional yeast flakes
¼ tsp guar gum
¼ tsp kala namak (black salt)
⅛ tsp paprika
⅛ tsp turmeric

½ cup water
¼ cup Soymilk

¼ cup Buttery Spread


Combine the nutritional yeast, guar gum, kala namak, paprika and turmeric and set aside.

Combine the water and Soymilk together and set aside.

In a small saucepan, melt Buttery Spread over medium low heat. Be sure Buttery Spread is completely melted and almost watery, then add the nutritional yeast mixture and whisk until smooth.

Whisk in water/ Soymilk, bring sauce to a simmer (not a boil). Reduce heat to low and stir occasionally until ready to serve.

Liquid Gold will keep in the refrigerator for 5 days!
